Una mirada al conflicto

A mis 38 años puedo decir que me considero apolítica, pero solo en el sentido de que no comparto ninguna ideología por completo, tal vez solo de países como Suiza o Noruega, los cuales a través de grandes sufrimientos como las guerras han encontrado la forma de que la gran mayoría  del pueblo se sienta representado. Pero no en el sentido de que la política me sea indiferente.

Muchas personas tanto en Chile como en el extranjero no se explican el porqué de esta crisis social, ya que de los países de Latinoamérica, supuestamente era el país mejor posicionado económicamente. Mi opinión absolutamente personal es que este estallido social, como bien saben, empezó con las generaciones más jóvenes, esos que dicen "no tienen nada que perder". ¿Por qué ellos?. Tal vez porque crecieron escuchando nuestras quejas en contra del sistema, el MOP Gate, el paco Gate, milico Gate, el caso Caval, caso Penta, colusión de las farmacias, colusión de los supermercados, los altos sueldos de los políticos, que por mucho que sus padres trabajan el dinero no alcanza hasta fin de mes en la mayoría de los hogares del país y con eso quedo corta. Nos escucharon todo el tiempo, mientras nosotros pensábamos que no entendían y bueno, la adolescencia es rebeldía per se, e imagino que no podían entender porque no hacíamos nada.

¿Que hicimos nosotros a parte de despotricar en redes sociales? Marchas pacíficas... participé en las marchas de no más AFP, en las marchas de "Este polvo te mata" en la ciudad de Antofagasta, en la cual viví por 16 años y donde nacieron mis dos hijas.  ¿Qué conseguimos?... Absolutamente nada y cuando como familia nos enteramos que nuestra hija menor y mi esposo estaban contaminados con metales pesados, sentí ganas de ir a tirar piedras, de quemar ese galpón infame, cuyo dueño ahora ofrece un sueldo mínimo de 500.000, unas migajas para él. Pude sentir la impotencia, la rabia que provoca la injusticia, el saber que nadie va ayudarte, que a ninguna autoridad le importa realmente lo que pase con las personas, siempre prima el dinero... Pero no me atreví a quemar ni destrozar nada, éramos un puñado pequeño de gente, con cierto respeto a las policías basados en el temor.

¿Avalo la violencia? Por supuesto que no, nunca debería llegarse a eso si lo pensamos de manera utópica, pero si se mira desde la óptica de acción y consecuencia, el pueblo ha sido violentado durante años con la corrupción y el sistema capitalista, que no es otra cosa que empresarios ganando miles de millones de utilidades, mientras las personas que hacen funcionar sus empresas ganan sueldos miserables. Las pensiones miserables también de los adultos mayores luego de haber entregado los mejores años de sus vidas a esas empresas, el sistema precario de salud y educación... todo eso también es violencia y la sensación de injusticia provoca rabia y con rabia se quita el miedo. Así es que si hay un culpable de toda la violencia que se está viviendo en el país, es el sistema político en el que estamos inmersos hace muchos años. Y creo que en algún momento del futuro todos entenderemos que esto tenía que pasar, ya que no hay evolución sin dolor y probablemente miraremos a esta generación con orgullo.

La siguiente pregunta que me gustaría que alguien me respondiera es ¿Cómo salimos de esto? Porque los hechos son que el sistema capitalista nos trajo empleo y progreso al país, pero como lidiamos con la usura es el tema primordial, ya que todos sabemos que si por ejemplo comenzamos a nacionalizar nuestros recursos terminaremos como Venezuela, es decir asfixiados por EEUU y todos los países capitalistas... Porque, en serio, todos sabemos que es así y no creo que el pueblo que está protestando hoy en la calle quiere eso. ¿Cómo caminamos entonces por el medio? Creo que ni los políticos tienen la respuesta, los únicos que tienen las respuestas son los empresarios, las multinacionales, en fin los dueños del mundo.

Entonces ¿cuál es el rol de los políticos? Ellos deberían defender al pueblo de las empresas usureras... pero como lograr algo así, si lo único que hacen es discutir por ideologías "Que fascismo que marxismo" como dice la canción Klara de Chinoy. Por eso toda la clase política necesita aprender con urgencia sobre filosofía Budista, ya que todos pueden darse cuenta al escuchar a un político que para ellos todo se trata de poder y ego. ¿Que nos decía Buda sobre como dominar el ego?

- No te sientas ofendido

- Libérate de la necesidad de ganar

- Libérate de la necesidad de tener razón

- Libérate de la necesidad de ser superior

- Libérate de la necesidad de tener más

- Libérate de la necesidad de identificarte con tus logros

- Libérate de tu fama.

¿Sería un mundo maravilloso cierto? ¿Pueden imaginarlo? Políticos dejando de lado el ego por el bien común, buscando la equidad, en donde las grandes empresas ganen dinero, porque para eso fueron creadas, pero que también los empleados tengan sus derechos fundamentales cubiertos.

Mirando la historia hacia atrás, vuelvo a repetir, no hay evolución sin dolor. Ya me duele en el alma ver como jóvenes, que lo único que están pidiendo es justicia social, terminen heridos, muertos, humillados. Pero también me duele que este sistema provoque que nos enfrentemos entre nosotros los chilenos... las personas que no quieren más protestas, policías versus los que quieren seguir luchando. Todos los Chilenos seremos beneficiados cuando este sistema nefasto deje de funcionar como hasta ahora, todo mejorará cuando dejemos de creer en utopías políticas ya que por evidencia histórica no funcionan los extremos de derecha o izquierda y por sobre todo eso, me duele el conflicto ya que, los jóvenes que están luchando, carabineros, los que no quieren más protestas, los ricos, los pobres, la clase media los que están conformes, los políticos… todos somos seres humanos y cuando comencemos a mirarnos con más amor y menos ganas de tener la razón, podremos decir que empezamos a evolucionar.

My absolutely personal opinion is that this social outbreak, as you well know, began with the younger generations, those who say "they have nothing to lose." Because they?. Perhaps because they grew up listening to our complaints against the system, the MOP Gate, the paco Gate, Milico Gate, the Caval case, Penta case, collusion of pharmacies, collusion of supermarkets, high salaries of politicians, which for a lot that his parents work the money does not reach until the end of the month in most of the homes of the country and with that I fall short. They listened to us all the time, while we thought they didn't understand and well, adolescence is rebellion per se, and I imagine they couldn't understand why we didn't do anything.

What did we do besides ranting on social networks? Peaceful marches ... I participated in the marches of no more AFP, in the marches of "This dust kills you" in the city of Antofagasta, where I lived for 16 years and where my two daughters were born. What do we get? ... Absolutely nothing and when as a family we learned that our youngest daughter and my husband were contaminated with heavy metals, I felt like going to throw stones, burn that infamous shed, whose owner now offers a minimum salary of 500,000, some crumbs for him. I could feel the helplessness, the anger that causes injustice, the knowledge that no one is going to help you, that no authority really cares what happens to people, money always prevails ... But I did not dare to burn or destroy anything, We were a small handful of people, with some respect for the police based on fear.

Do I endorse the violence? Of course not, that should never be achieved if we think about it utopically, but if you look at it from the perspective of action and consequence, the people have been violated for years with corruption and the capitalist system, which is nothing more than entrepreneurs earning billions of profits, while the people who run their businesses earn miserable salaries. The miserable pensions also of older adults after having delivered the best years of their lives to these companies, the precarious health and education system ... all of that is also violence and the feeling of injustice causes anger and anger is removed fear. So if there is a culprit in all the violence that is being experienced in the country, it is the political system in which we are immersed many years ago. And I think that at some point in the future we will all understand that this had to happen, since there is no evolution without pain and we will probably look at this generation with pride.

The next question I would like someone to answer is how do we get out of this? Because the facts are that the capitalist system brought us employment and progress to the country, but as we deal with usury it is the main issue, since we all know that if for example we begin to nationalize our resources we will end up like Venezuela, that is, asphyxiated by the United States and All capitalist countries. How do we walk through the middle? I think that neither politicians have the answer, the only ones who have the answers are the businessmen, the multinationals, in short, the owners of the world.

So what is the role of politicians? They should defend the people from usury companies ... but how to achieve something like that, if all they do is argue for ideologies "What fascism that Marxism" as the song Klara de Chinoy says. That is why the entire political class needs to learn urgently about Buddhist philosophy, since everyone can realize by listening to a politician that for them everything is about power and ego. What did Buddha tell us about how to dominate the ego?

- Do not feel ofended

- Liberate the need to win

- Free yourself from the need to be right

- Free yourself from the need to be superior

- Free yourself from the need to have more

- Free yourself from the need to identify yourself with your achievements

- Free yourself from your fame.

It would be a wonderful world, right? Can you imagine it? Politicians neglecting the ego for the common good, seeking equity, where large companies earn money, because for that they were created, but also that employees have their fundamental rights covered.

Looking back at the story, I repeat again, there is no evolution without pain. It hurts in my soul to see as young people, that all they are asking for is social justice, they end up hurt, dead, humiliated. But it also hurts that this system causes us to confront Chileans among us ... people who don't want more protests, police officers versus those who want to keep fighting. All Chileans will be benefited when this disastrous system ceases to function as before, everything will improve when we stop believing in political utopias because historical evidence does not work the right or left extremes and above all that, we are all human beings, the young people who are fighting, carabineros, those who do not want more protests, the rich, the poor, the middle class those who are satisfied, politicians ... we are all human beings and when we start looking at each other with more love and less desire to be right , we can say that we begin to evolve.
